Somerton Music & Arts Festival returns for another year with a wide variety of events over eight days in July.  The programme of events offers something for everyone!

Events take place throughout the town, starting with two curtain raiser events, the Art, Photography, Embroidery & Sculpture Exhibition in the Parish Rooms between 25th May and the 1st June; and an evening of music with the IOU’s in the Sports and Social Club on Friday 14th June.

Festival Week itself starts on Friday 5th of July with an exciting concert by the amazing A Capella group “The Sons of Pitches” in St Michael and All Angels Church in the heart of the town. See Latest News for further details.  One not to be missed.

The Festival ends on Saturday 13th July with Somerstock, a  great new one day music festival for Somerset.  With 12 hours of awesome music and 18 live bands, this event ends the 2019 Somerton Music and Arts Festival with a fantastic day of music on Somerton’s Sports and Recreation Ground.  Somerstock tickets are now on sale.

Somerstock headliners are Toploader.  With over two million album sales and a string of top 20 hits both home and abroad Toploader are probably best known for their platinum selling “Dancing in the Moonlight”.
