2017 Market Day & Fun Day – Trader Information

Bookings for Market Day and FunDay are Closed….

Each year The Festival organises a Market Day in the Somerton Market Square and the a family Fun Day on Somerton Sports Field. Both events provide pitches for stalls (Trade and Charity). Details, including  tariff, for each event are below

Closing date for all bookings is Monday June 19th 2017

Market Day –  Saturday 8th July 10:00am to 2:00pm

 

Market Day is (mostly) an outdoor event held in the Market Square which is closed to traffic for the duration. It is great fun with free entertainment for all ages and exceptionally well attended.

Outdoor pitches around the Market Square may be requested. (Tables and chairs are not provided)

A limited number of indoor table sized pitches are also available in The Parish Rooms with Tables provided.

All requests will be dealt with on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

We liaise with you at the end of June regarding positions and time of arrival.

Access for set up will be from 7:00am to be completed by 9:15am. Please note that some stall holders may be requested to arrive at 7:00am depending on the position of their pitch. All generators must have the permission of the event organisers and be safely fenced with safety sign attached.

A discounted rate is available for Charitable organisations

Discounts are also available for a booking for both Market Day and Fun Day

Indoor table pitches are only available on Market Day


Fun Day – Sunday 16th July 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Fun Day is an outdoor event held on Somerton Sports Field.  It is Family orientated event with lots to see and do for all ages.

Outdoor pitches around the Sports Field may be requested. (Tables and chairs are not provided)

Larger sized pitches (greater than 4m x 4m) are available.

All requests will be dealt with on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

We liaise with you at the end of June regarding positions and time of arrival.

Access for set up will be from 10:00am to be completed by 11:45am. All generators must have the permission of the event organisers and be safely fenced with safety sign attached.

A discounted rate is available for Charitable organisations

Discounts are also available for booking smaller pitches for both Market Day and Fun Day(see Market Day above)

Larger pitches greater than 4m x 4m are only available on Fun Day
